| 1) What can we offer you?!?! |
| Features of Our Program |
| Save Money |
Traditional forms of advertising(newspapers, magazines, etc.) can cost you valuable time and money. Putting
an ad in a newspaper for example, can cost you $50 or more with varied results. Unfortunately, they ask you to pay regardless of the results.
Our service is just the opposite. You pay when you get results. Posting to our site is absolutely free. You pay
only to contact those people that you feel will be potential clients. This can save you an immense amount of money in
needless advertising.
|
| |
| Save Time |
With our site you set out the guidelines of your teaching program from the beginning. You can make changes whenever necessary
in order to "fine tune" your ad. We also offer you more than ample amount of space to be as thorough as you need.
This eliminates the hassle of needlessly answering the same questions by potential clients over and over again. Here are some things you
might want to list in your ad.
- Your experience(awards, jobs, schooling, etc.)
- What delivery methods do you use in your teaching? (chatting, telephone, See our section on technology)
- What makes your approach special? / What seperates you from other teachers?
- Your Schedule, frequently asked questions
- Give references from past students
- Possibly offer one free lesson so students can get a feel for your style
|
| |
| Large Marketplace |
Traditional forms of advertising lack the ability to reach a very large marketplace. For instance, a local
newspaper is seen in a very small geographic area. Why not increase this area and allow yourself to reach a larger audience?
Becoming a registered teacher allows you to reach the world and also pick and choose customers that you feel meet your specifications. You may
just want to teach over the telephone or through text chat. With our program you are able to find these specific clients.
|
| |
|
Build a Reputation
|
Often times the most powerful tool in business is gaining the trust of your client. While we encourage you to disclose
whether or not you have references(No Contact information is permitted), we also allow feedback on our site. In this way it becomes
easy for you to gain clients because they can read first-hand accounts from your happy students. We also allow you to post your side of
each and every feedback post you receive. This means if you recieve a bad comment for some reason you will be able to explain your side of
the situation. Students can also post further feedback if the situation changes in the future.
|
| |
|
No Risk or Overhead
|
Since it is free to post there is no risk. Also you save money in development, upkeep, promotion, and several other areas that your own website would cost.
No Automatic Renewals, No Spam(Privacy Policy), Nothing but honest service for honest teachers.

2) How does it all work?!?!
|
 |
|
1. How much does it cost?
Each learner you wish to contact costs you a small contact fee. You only pay once to send contact
information to a client. All messages that follow to that particular client are free!! Take a look below for actual costs:
|
|
Contact Time
|
Cost
|
|
1st three contacts
|
$1.50 U.S.
|
|
Every Contact After That
|
$3.00 U.S.
|
| |
|
|
To contact your first learner, you must prepay a minium of $12.00
U.S. by creating a contact credits account. Contact credits will be used
to pay the contact fee and are valid for 12 months. This fee is based on site development and maitenance costs
as well as comparable sites who offer services like ours. When considering the lucrative nature of language lessons
a teacher should be able to make back this fee within at least one lesson easily.
|
|
There are no annual, hidden, or membership fees. This site is free for all learners.

2. How do I find learners?
To find learners you conduct a search through our listing here. If you find
a student you would like to teach you can send them a message containing your contact information.
The cost of making the contact is subtracted from the total contact credits in your account.
All learners who have profiles over 30 days old may be contacted at no charge with a simple message asking
them if they are still looking for a teacher. In this way you will not waste your credits. If an old profile answers
that they do require a teacher then you are better equipped to make a good decision.

3. What if a learner contacts me first?
Great!! We will send you a message notifying you of the message. You then come to our site
log-in and view their message. Carefully review their message, profile, and see
if they are a worthy client. From here you have a couple options:
- Review their profile and message. If you decide to pursue a relationship with this person you may then send them a message with
your contact information and the fee will be subtracted from your contact credits.
- If after reviewing their profile and message you feel you do not want
to pursue a relationship with this person then we can send a standard message to them
on your behalf notifying them that you are not interested at this time. This is free.
- Another option is to wait and contemplate the situation. This is of course free but they may find a teacher elsewhere.

registered teacher on our site. See what they said about other teachers.

5. The learner's profile is old. How do I know the learner is still seeking a teacher?
If the learner's profile is over 30 days old then you may send them a standard message asking them if they
are still requiring lessons. This is free. Should the learner be interested in your services you may then
send a message with your contact information and the appropriate fee will be subtracted from your contact credits.

6. What if a learner does not receive my contact information? Can I get my contact fee back?

7. What happens when the learner agrees to be my student?
Congratulations!! We hope that your relationship prospers.
It is a good idea to be as specific as possible with learning goals, objectives, fees, and all
other matters. Not only will it make you look more professional but it will also help your
student understand where he/she is in their learning process and where they are going in the future.
Also, from experience this tends to lessen the chance of disagreements about arrangements.
After you have both done some sessions together you should both return to post reviews about one another.
Reviews can help both of you establish a reputation on our site for future use.

8. Should I ask my student to write a teacher review of me?
Most definitely do so. This will help to give you a reputation on our site and help in acquiring
future students. Reviews will distinguish you from other teachers.

9. What if I think the teacher review of me was unfair?
Teachers may add a message to any review explaining their point-of-view. Students may also
add future reviews in order to clear up past indifferences. Perhaps a student leaves
a bad review for a teacher but later after further lessons the student changes their mind.

Direct Deposit
|
In some cases your student may be able to deposit money directly into your bank account. This is most viable when you live in the same country as the person you are tutoring.
Otherwise there is a fee for wire transfer of money. This fee usually applies both ways meaning that it will cost the sender to transfer money and then there is also a charge again
by the receiving bank. All together this can be up to $35.00 - $40.00. Not the best option unless you live in the same country at the time of the lessons.

Skype is a free downloadable, real-time voice and text chat communications program. We recommend it, because:
- If both people use skype on their computer the service is completely free.
- Just like using the phone but over your computer.
- Its also a very cheap phonecard for those without a computer. Personally used by our staff for long distance calls overseas. They call this Skypeout. So even if you don't use it for tutoring
consider it for talking with family and friends back home.
- It has perhaps the best voice quality of any Internet voice program.
- It works with any firewall.
- It is available in 17 languages: Danish, Dutch, Estonian, English, Finnish, German, French, Hebrew, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish and Swedish.
it easy to install and use.
Using Skype, you can have private communications with up to four other people. Skype requires a Windows 2000 or XP computer.
- More options are being added all the time but as of late they have capabilities for voice mail, etc.
